About Me
Hey! I'm a Software Engineer and, at times, a manager and mentor of other engineers, with experience in academic research software, renewables and environmental industries, and most recently, education technologies and services. I like making stuff and sometimes writing about making stuff. A consumate tinkerer and nerd, I have a passion for open source software and hardware, and I love to share my knowledge with others. I am also a big fan of the Raspberry Pi and other single-board computers, and I enjoy building projects that combine hardware and software. I am also a big fan of modeling physical systems with differential equations and numerical methods -- everything from ballistics to financial instruments.
